Discontinuation of Statin Treatment in Stroke Patients Stroke 37:2640-2643, Endres,M. &Laufs,U., 2006 See this aricle in Pubmed Article Abstract We propose that in all acute ischemic stroke patients chronically treated with statins before the event, treatment should be continued and the patient should receive medication at the day of the stroke.
